NASA'S SOFIA Discover's water on sunlit surface of moon! 🌑

Interesting News!!

NASA's SOFIA - Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy has confirmed for the first time, water on the sunlit surface of the mini. This discovery indicates that water may be distributed across the Lunar surface, Not limited to cold, shadowed places.

This can also be proof that it will rain on the moon occasionally. And the presence of water may also be proof of how water originated on Earth.

SOFIA has detected water molecules (H20) in Clavius crater, one of the largest craters visible from Earth, located in the moon's southern hemisphere.

Previous observations of the Moon’s surface detected some form of hydrogen but were unable to distinguish between water and its close chemical relative, hydroxyl (OH).
Data from this location is equal to a 12-ounce bottle of water - trapped in a cubic meter of soil, that is spread across the Lunar Surface.

About SOFIA:
SOFIA offered a new means of looking at the Moon. Flying at altitudes of up to 45,000 feet, this modified Boeing 747SP jetliner with a 106-inch diameter telescope reaches above 99% of the water vapor in Earth’s atmosphere to get a clearer view of the infrared universe. Using its Faint Object infraRed CAmera for the SOFIA Telescope (FORCAST), SOFIA was able to pick up the specific wavelength unique to water molecules, at 6.1 microns, and discovered a relatively surprising concentration in sunny Clavius Crater.

This is would be a new horizon and will help a lot in research ways for the Artemis program that is coming up. And at the same time, Will it answer our question about extraterrestrials? Or did we come from our moon?

Humans again to the moon? Including the first Woman and the next man? Artemis Program - That will be the next topic for the blog!

See you!

History Issue 1 - The lost Inca empire

Hello guys, I am back with another post. I am very happy to welcome you to the history series!!!! In this series, you will get information about - great history topics and also the secrets behind them.  The Inca empire. The Incan civilization - Is the most famous one, so I am starting this article. Inca also knew as Incan or Inka civilization is the largest civilization in pre-Columbian America. The administrative, Military, and political center was located in the city of Cusco.  This civilization is the last chapter of the Andean civilization - which we will see in the upcoming articles. The Inca people are were a pastoral tribe (people rear domestic animals as their main occupation) around or in the area of the city Cusco.    Manco Capac - First Inca or king. The Inca Empire functioned largely without money and without markets. Instead, the exchange of goods and services was based on reciprocity between individuals and among individuals, groups, and Inca ruler...

Lonely Planet - PSO J318.5-22

Lonely Planet - PSO J318.5-22 Sounds interesting right? Hi! Everyone I am back with another post. So, what's a lonely planet? Can we live there? Will extraterrestrial use these planets as a base? Scroll down below! Planets in space usually revolve around a star, like the planets in our solar system revolve around the sun. But one day, when looking for a murky, dim star ( these stars don't emit much light, It will be harder to find) a group of scientists stumbled upon a planet that was drifting alone in space. This lonely planet was aimlessly moving around space without a star to keep it warm or as a company! Why does the planet revolve around a warm star? Stay tuned for the next blog!  This planet also has the same characteristics as any other planet. In fact, It looks like our Jupiter's big sister! : What might have happened? Scientists believe that gravitational forces might have flung this planet away from its star, leaving it in the middle of nowhere with no company. ...

China's Chang'e-5 mission - What you need to know?

Hello everyone!  With the success of the Chang'e-5 mission, China has become the third country to retrieve sample from the Moon, after the U.S and the Soviet Union. Scientists believe the lunar rocks and soil could give us a glimpse of a much younger moon. Chinese space probe Chang'e-5, carrying rocks and soil from the Moon, returned to Earth safely on December 17. The capsule carrying the samples landed in northern China's inner Mongolia region.   This is the first lunar sample return since 1976, when the former Soviet Union's Luna 24 returned with Lunar material. China's Chang'e-5 probe. Credit: Wikimedia Commons Chang'e-5 is a robotic mission of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program, launched on November 23 2020. The Chang'e-5 probe included a lander, an ascender, orbiter and a returner. After it entered the designated circular lunar orbit, the lander-ascender pair separated from the orbiter-returner group and descended and successfully touched down n...
